Following Hurricane Harvey, fresch Architects was contracted by Texas A&M University Corpus Christi / SSC Services to design and manage the reroof and wall paneling improvements for the Campus’ flagship building.  This difficult building envelope project was further complicated by the building’s dynamic ongoing practice and performance schedule which shaped Contractor black-out dates and the overall strategy for zoning areas of work to ensure continued dried-in conditions and uninterrupted building operation. fresch Architects followed up the envelope project with a renovation to the Lobby including stained /polished concrete floors throughout all floors and monumental stairs, acoustic paneling along perimeter window wall trusses, acoustic paneling at floor deck fascia gusset panels, and suspended acoustic panels below monumental stairs.
